A couple of nights ago Spike lee gave a lecture at Colorado College, which I attended with a friend. It was really inspiring to hear his story about the beginning of his career. The challenges of a film maker appear to be similar to those of an illustrator; the bottom line was that Spike talked about believing in what you do for the love of art! Great thoughts during these uncertain times.
